Slovakia. Vysoke Tatry / ENGLISH

Part one. Tatranska Lomnica

We are visiting Slovakia for the third time this year

Probably not by chance. There is probably something to it.

I am sure that

The Lord has a specific strategic purpose for this

We landed in a small-town Kosice

Pastor Mario introduced us to the local sights, flashing through the Windows of the car.

He told me about his ministry.

By the way, he pastors two churches. And there are dozens of ministers like him in their movement. Internally, I feel they, these churches – are developing rapidly.

Pastors and leaders are young, but spiritually mature. In fact, we are talking about a network of churches, headed by Yardo Grzysz, with whom we became friends at the beginning of this year. We perfectly understand each other, and he kindly opened the doors of his churches wide, for which I am very grateful to him.

This is how the Lord unexpectedly began to build bridges of cooperation in European countries. This time, our route lay in the foothills of picturesque places,

Which is called High Tatras.

I have not seen such beauty in a while.

It is breath-taking.

Looking at this greatness, you unconsciously recall the psalmist:

«I will lift up my eyes to the hills—From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.».

Truly help was very necessary, because after such a long trip we had to conduct services in four churches,

one of which turned out to be a gypsy church. But I will talk more on this later.

Therefore, there wasn’t any time for relaxation.

Part Two. Liptovsky Mikulas

Their language, of course, is exotic, mixed.

There is something from the Bulgarian, and from Polish, and from Ukrainian. Such is the mixture.

Such a cocktail

When I first heard such a name - Liptovsky Mikulas, at first I thought it was some kind of Lithuanian town or Lithuanian make-up. (This is a Russian Joke – This is because Lithunia in its adjectival form is translated Litovsky)

But Mario Mario explained that there is nothing Lithuanian here.

The word «Liptovsky» means Holy.

Just like St. Petersburg. But in this case, we are heading to the town of St. Nicholas.

Services are held in civilized conditions. In cozy and comfortable rooms.

I was pleasantly surprised to see such a magazine on the counter of the bookstores.

Well done. excellent. There was nothing to complain of, it was obvious that there was a thorough preparation towards the service. It was such a comfortable atmosphere.

Family-Like.

Real blessing for a Minister is not just to share a Word, but to find himself in the flow.

Informative and energetic. When you are not the one swimming but He carries you

This is probably what an anointed service is, when both the minister and the listeners are equally blessed

This is what we encountered that night.

May the Lord bless you more <Liptovsky Mikulas>.

Part 3. Spišská Belá

The last time I ministered in a Gypsy Church was a few years ago, in Bulgaria. And now, again, I am presented with this great opportunity. I must say, Gypsies are in different type also.

The Gypsies here were different from those of Bulgaria.

You ask in what sense? Well, maybe these are more civilized and social.

At least the ones I saw

By the way, on the night before this service I learned that gypsies make up ten percent of the total population of Slovakia. Actually, this is a lot.

Most of them live in their camps - villages below the poverty line. Without water and electricity. In darkness, full of cockroaches, criminality and non-hygienic conditions. But here is a completely different picture. A dramatic contrast.

Here, the people from those slums are already transformed and enlightened - this is a great indicator of the Divine work, in the long term. Once not a people, but now a people, once unpardoned, but now pardoned.

Unknowingly there was a parallel between the history of the Israeli people and the Gypsy.

Israeli in the past, and gypsy in the near future.

Transforming slavish, marginal thinking and receiving the revelation of adoption, and thus about one's rightful heritage, is the main task that confronts us today. And that's exactly what I preached at that service.

I must say, the potential of these people is huge, including creativity. The authenticity is awesome. When they started to sing, not in Slovak, but in Gipsy their own songs, something amazing happened in the atmosphere.

May the Lord bless these people. They have gained true freedom in Christ Jesus, thanks to such ministers as Pastor Jan and his blessed team.

And let this “tithe” in the territory of Slovakia someday completely come to the Lord.

Blessings to this Unique town of Spišská Belá!

Part 4.  Poprad, Kosice

And then there were a couple more services in two towns. Their names are also cool - Kosice and Poprad.

According to the last name, I had my own version. I thought it was a city where the pope always rejoices (pop – rad <a Russian word for rejoice>). But, alas, Mario dispelled such an idea.

It’s okay. If it’s a no, then it’s no. It’s good that we are not popes. It is good that we are priests and we serve the Living God.

You can watch the full service in Poprad here.

Favorite early flight, we are going home, can you imagine – the departure is at five in the morning

As Paul said ‘the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak’

But I didn’t have a choice but to lift the weak flesh and place it on board

But the heart was full of deep peace and satisfaction.

So, I want to be that kind and faithful servant, ready to fulfill any request of his master. By the way, His birthday is soon.

Let’s bring to Him a well-deserved present.

Someone brings gold and the other incense and another myrrh

Happy Holidays, Friends!!!!!
